    Hmm, so tempting...

    I already have all the engines on my machine, and I am getting a little bit tired of the restrictions in Unity (engine wise) that I've been considering switching engines. The main issue I hear is you need a big art team to use CryEngine.

    I need something with the asset simplicity of Unity, but considerably more Engine freedom. Xenko is the other C# engine I am playing with, but I wonder how restricted that is going to end up being, due to potential performance restrictions from a pure C# engine.

    Godot? It's development has been accelerating and a new major version is coming soonish.

    @Ramble
    Godot is indeed a cool looking engine, but I am looking to stick with something that has C# as the game code language.
