nice mod definetly, i love the cube design many are adopting lately
That looks really good! just steatlh the cd drives with some aluminium and will look cool
looking really nice, hope you do a good job with the drives, maybe keep the fascia shape instead of doing two the same?! How many reservoirs does a guy need?!
ey thanks a lot
i'm searching some ideas to what to do in alu co cover the cds i'm tinking on some like the coolermaster or lian-li fronts to cover the cds of their cases
i think that one res is important to put the water and to take off the water but i have 4 because i think is prety cool the res
see you and thanks one more time
stealth the cd's yourself. Dont go and buy a CM or lian li one....
Get 2 pieces of aluminium and use double sided tape and there Then your case will be 100% own made
yeah but i want the cds with a buton to open not only open by software i must find somehow to do that.
i'm back again
i've made some changes to my project. now it has an nec 3500a silver and the other dvd is still with the normal color (i will paint it)
i've puted an 320x240 graphic lcd on the front, and a blue anti-vandalism button from aqua-computer.
i will post more pics when my new sistem arrives:
asus an8 sli
2x512 ddr 400
and the respective waterblocks for the cpu, gpu and chipset
yay! can't wait to see it back mate
that case looks pretty awesum
looks sweet tho
why dont you put the whole pc in water?
this just kills the beauty of a nice reservoir
i say get out with the top one
and your drive res
and keep your pillar ones
okay it's tour opinion, i like very much the 4 res.they give style to the case
Yeah I can't see a problem with it tbh- water looks cool afterall
looks sweet!!! what u planning to do with the stacker then? i've jsut started work on mine, don't no weather to do a project log tho!
and where do you get the software from to open CD drives?
the stacker project is still off. when i finish this one i will begin with stacker.but it will be a soft mod not and hard core
when we talked by software is going to the my computer and on the drive choose eject...
tnhks a lot guys[[]]
ahh i see, very good, i googled that idea and found loads of programs that puts pics on the toolbar, so u can click on them to edject the CD drives or you can set a hotkey to eject, but it is a little slow!
When I stealthed my drives, I used my old bezel, removed the front off my drives and stuck it directly to the tray I then put some packing where the eject button was.
So all I have to do is to press the corner where the button was and it opened. You will just have to experiment on how much packing to use. And I also drilled holes for my led's too, but then it wasn't completely stealthed. but it still looked cool...
Oh by the way awesome case..
tnhaks a lot
the problem with the steal is that my old dvd-reader have that sound circle and i have to take it off if i want to steal the drive.
so i'm painting with the color of my new 3500a silver
My compliments for the cutouts in aluminum revealing the reservoirs. First time I've seen that. I was wondering what thickness aluminum sheet stock you used?
thanks a lot
i've used 1,5mm of thickness but if it was now i would use 2,5mm...
