I appear to be having problems while playing this game. When on the beach, just after you get the sun bather to roll over, you pour the cooking oil his back and the game freezes. Pressing ctrl-alt-del to minimize the window reveals a box titled SmushDS saying "error 80070057 while locking sound buffer". My sound card is a Soundblaster Live! and im running XP if it helps. Is there anything I can do about this or anything else you need to know. Thanks.:thumb:

Awesome game, though I've never found this problem or heard of it. I'd suggest geting your drivers in date and possibly running the game in compatability mode as it's known to have errors in cutscenes with XP onwards.

If that fails you may want to look at ScummVM, if that runs it. If not then you'll be able to find some tech support at worldofmi.com or somewhere on the mixnmojo network I would have thought.

Your first time playing the game? I envy you.

Drivers were fine, I'll try ScummVM then worldofmi.com. Thanks.

Edit: ScummVM plays (just, lots of loading and stuttering) it but it wont open my save :( So I wont know if it worked till I get back to that point.
