I was wondering if anyone had any information on building ECU's. As part of the FormulaSAE team at my school, we are trying to build our own ECU for our car this year instead of piecing together MoTECH parts and original motor ECU parts. This custom ECU will hopefully give us a larger performance boost and allow us to customize the car more. But as most would guess, the workings of an ECU are a little difficult and to build one from nearly scratch will take some learning and some trial and error. Any help or knowlegde into this subject would be greatly appriciated. We will be using a Honda CBR motor if all goes to planned. Thanks Guys, Keep modding, Yumadil
megasquirt rocks. My friend uses one on his V8 Mini. You can even alter the fuel map while driving to adjust how the engine performs!
