I've just started a new hobby (shooting) and I need to keep my gear in a locked case for obvious reasons. I've got an pelican-like case measuring about 15"x10". It came with some pluck-foam inserts, but I don't think those will last very long. So I was looking at some 'custom foam inserts', but those are very expensive, and it will still be foam. I remember seeing a plastic moulding in a few different project logs. Does anybody have a link on how to do that? Has anybody done this? How hard is it? How well is the overall 'finish'?
