Modding custom LED fan

    allright
    heres what i did:
    i drilled 3 holes evenly throughout the side of the fan, put the leds in, and glued them in place with crazy glue. then i bent soldered, and extended the leads with wire from an old hard drive cable, and hid them behind black electrician's tape
    then i did the same thing with the poitive leads, only i brought each one around to 1 individual LED.
    then i took a pair of hdd wire and soldered one to -ve and 1 to +ve, put each lead to 3v on mobo
    BAM
    heres what u get

    note: 1 LED is burned out :(
    i would have put this under mod guide, but, i dont really think its a guide because i only have 1 pic, lol

    Where are your current limiting resistors?? :nono:

    on the motherboard
    this is just a test, so i plugged it into pled
