I am thinking about making a custon res, but I think I heard something somewhere about acrylic being soluble in alcohol or something. Is this true? Is my antifreeze going to eat away my res? Is there anything that I should avoid putting in an acrylic res? Or should I get a different material for the res?

Im not sure what the group of chemicals are called. IIRC alcohol either means stuff you can drink, and not die, or it refers to the bond holding together the carbon or whatever. Anyway antifreeze is glycol. Im quite sure that anything you can drink is safe to put in accrylic, and also lots of people use glycol without any problems, so Im sure that wont give any.

Im sure someone here knows a lot more about this than me.. so please correct me if Im wrong.
