Yup, today has done nothing for my patience for this release.
Scooch over, i'll take that seat next to you on the hypetrain.
Save me a wet spot will you? I'm gonna make a mess anyway.
Best get making some sponge trousers
I'm going to sit in a bath of my own filth for 2 weeks. A hose on the tap for water, and 14 cans of tomato soup, 14 cans or baked beans and 1 louve of bread. All I need is a jar of chillies, a couple pizzas and a crate of beer and I will float like a catamaran sailing through the seas.
Come on, don't tell me your aren't aroused.
You had me at 'wet spot'.
I knew we had something special.
I guess that's one word for it
The content of that "goodies" pack is awesome.
I had a print done of one of the posters at 70x100cm, it's crazy to me that they just.. Give this stuff away. They could easily have put posters for sale at ~50€ themselves.
Watch Dogs Legion (i.e. the warm-up act) released their requirements. Though without saying what FPS each one is, it's a bit useless...
Cyberpunk's is being released Friday night.
Goddamnit I set a reminder to grab that and forgot.
Several months too late
The next "Night City Wire" is at 6pm CEST tomorrow (Friday Sept 18th)
Some people were expecting Microsoft Flight Simulator tier, but even Recommended's 4 cores! That's hilarious!
November cant come soon enough
A good spot is that the requirements are pretty much the same as Red Dead Redemption 2's.
I fear people are thinking this is gonna run like the trailers with a GTX 780, forgetting the rules of requirements: ignore the minimum and assume the recommended is BS. Maybe anyone who's played RDR2 should expect about the same, if not better. But I don't know how Witcher 3 was.
IF we assume that CDProjekt understates requirements by the same margin as they did for Witcher 3 then realistic requirements would be:
Min: GTX 1070 / Vega 56
Rec: RTX 2070 / RX 5700XT
But what are you defining minimum and recommended as?
Something in the range of 60 fps @1080p high settings for min, 60 fps @1440p Max settings for rec.
Of course the developers are more likely going for the ballpark of:
Min = compatible
Rec = console like performance
Those aren't as extreme as I'd feared.
I'm okay with this.
Separate names with a comma.
