anyone know if this keyboard is worth the £50 from Scan.co.uk?

    Or

If theres another more suited keyboard for RPG and FPS gaming with some MMOs for around £50?

If you can save up another 10£ you could go for the Razer Blackwidow which is a mechanical keyboard instead of the V7 which is a dome/membrane keyboard. The advantage of mechanical keyboards is the longevity of the keys (50 million keypresses), the feeling of quality (no mushy keys like on a standard membrane keyboard) and the satisfying clicking sound which it makes.

I own a Das Keyboard Ultimate and am therefore a bit biased but after trying a mechanical keyboard I could never go back to a standard one, they simply feel too soft and squishy.

Agreed, I have a blackwidow. Has 5 macro keys too which is nice, but also a good macro editing suite. Only complaint is that the lettering on the keyboard wears out quickly. 2 months of ownership and my WASD and ctrl keys look a year old :( Also, shame it has no backlight. Otherwise, a pleasure to use
