hey guys, bit of a weird one this, as far as I can see everything's set up right for a network between computers, but I can only see the computers connected by wires to the router when I look on one with wires and vice versa, as if the wireless and wired network connections are seperate? maybe a feature, but I really hope not as I'd like to transfer some stuff over, any ideas guys?

    thanks,

can you ping the PC's connected by wireless from a wired PC? try by IP address and Netbios name, are they on the same domain\workgroup?

are all your machines running the same operating system and connected to the same router (make sure the wireless machines are not on the neighbours wi-fi!). if so as denis said try pinging the ip addresses to see if they are connected on the network if so u can likely share data with a little configuration.

to ping open the command prompt and type (eg) ping 192.168.1.5

    best of luck
