...Thats the error message i'm getting when i double click on the folder. It only started doing this after i reinstalled windows because i upgraded my motherboard.

Under that it says 'Access Denied'. I'm logged in as administrator so i have the authority to see all the files.

    Anyone got any ideas?

goto the folder's properties, and make sure that Administrators have the right to view, and under advanced make sure that your user, or administrators is the owner

right click, properties, security (its a tab at the top), advanced, Owner, tick "replace owner on subcontainers and objects" and then double click on the user you wan to own the folder.

Nedsbed: I think that option is only available on Win XP Pro.

I still can't get into it. Its very odd that the one folder i actully give a damn about is the one that got messed up :wallbash:
