£211.75 for a Gigabyte GeForce 7900GT 256MB, no stock but it show's what these cards should be selling for. There are some mad prices elsewhere :eeek:

That's a damn good price, shame it's still £200 more than I can afford :( and ive nothing new to play on it so it's not like I need an upgrade from 6800GT.

I havent heard the cooler on the 7900GTs yet, but the fan looks small and iffy. The GTX512 cooler, the same as on the 7800GTX512 is meant to be "the best thing ever" to quote mr.bigz. He was gonna plug it in for me, but eventually we both forgot.

It is true NVIDIA knock out ATI ;)

And here the results with a FX-60 CPU

    3DMark06 stock.

When you are so close to the 9000 than you push the CPU a little bit to make it 9000 points after the Cebit I put the hardware in the Extreme Lian Li to try to beat the 11000 point's in 06. On the Cebit I have seen 10500 points in 3DMark06 and the don’t have use so much cooling as I have in the extreme lian li. Point of View is a Dutch company so the must have the highest 3DMark score and now the have it.

Not that impressive results actually when reading full reviews, but what I'm interested about is, that if someone comes across a picture with a side-by-side comparison of 6800 le / gt - 7800 gt and 7900 gtx please let me know. What I mean by this is a photo with the cards next to eatch other so that the mounting holes are clearly visible - naked cards are the best option for sure. I'm trying to find out that what sort of watercooling block would fit a 7900 GTX.

edit: Had time today to find proper pictures and indeed the mounting for 7900 gtx seems to be exactly the same as 7800 gtx 512, thanks anyway =]
