    Dad, what do you have planned for this lovely Nissan, Engine wise.
    240bhp > 400bhp, must be something, nice ;)

    variable vane turbos do help to reduce the lag effect but you can't get round the fact you still have a large turbo that will take time to spin up. You really to to use a small and large turbo in seriel or a supercharger and turbo to eliminate lag in a FI engine. NOS works too.

    Yep, you are absolutely right.... I just messed up what "lag" really means... :duh: I am not a native speaker...

    Haven't settled on anything, just know that I want to bet it up over 400hp. Actually, I have to talk my dad into letting me build it. I think it scares him with having 240hp... I think that we are going to take it to Watkins Glen International this fall before the cold hits so we can take a few laps. If we do, I'll take many pics :)

    Just an FYI dad, looking for a 66 camaro would be no fun, because they didnt start manufacturing the camaro to 68

    Actually, you're partially correct, I ment '68 (I must have been thinking of a '66 Nova a friend has), however the Camaro came out in '67... ;)

    You mean the 350z right? The new one?...
    And, I also love pop up headlights, shame not many cars have them now :(

    Actually upgrades and such are on hold untill prolly Spring. I'm running into some serious bills and toys have to be put on the back burner for the time being.

    wow. i didnt realize there were so many central new yorkers on here :)

    i was working on a 65' stang with my girlfriends father. all we really have to do now is paint it and some interior work. rest of the bodywork is done and the engine is running great.

    sweet car though. i saw a toyota MR2 ib ebay with twin helicopter jet engines in the back though... went for 20g's ;) ... very similar car is all ...

    i think i saw you driving down morgan road in that nissan yesterday when i was on the way to work (circuit city roadshop btw ;) )

    could have been somone else, but thats a rare car and it was prolly you :)
