i msut admit i dont mind motorcycalists passing me & when i see a horse, mute the hifi, drop the clutch so i pass without revs & leave a wide berth, my mum used ot ride horses & she ahd one spook out & i wouldent want that happen to another rider

tbh i liek my rocer, stupidly torquel so it barely wheelspins, it jsut grips & can pass nova boy easily

a potato up the exhaust pipe, works well. Or just get under the car, reach up & remove the HT leads.

Horses on the road annoy the hell out of me, they have no business being on a road (mind you I think humans have no business being on the back of a horse in the first place).

And these ****ing cyclists during the Tour de France season, you come up to a group of about 40 of them and the idiots are riding 3 deep, usually the seem so arrogant not moving into single file, that's usually about the time I rev the engine right up start to pass them with not much room and blast the horn, the only problem with that is to make sure your nowhere near a red traffic light.

I've got one worse than cyclists....

the arrogant one or two who cross on a crossing when the light is green, and then because you have to stop so you don't dent the bonnet, everyone thiks the lights have changed and start crossing.. then once they've all finished crossing the traffic lights think its funny to change to red..... grrr

    Ok what about......

When you see the police driving and talking on their mobile! Or jumping trafiic lights, even though they don't have their lights/sirens going. Or the one that really bugs me is when they turn on their lights etc, go through the traffic lights and immediatly turn the lights/sirens off again. :miffed:

I know, but they really get on my nerves, esp on a 60mph road and you come round a bend to find 40 of these people riding 3 deep doing 30 mph.
What they are doing is putting themselves in danger.

Very true..... i was taught at primary school not to ride side by side with someone else on a bike. Imaging the uproar if car drivers drove side by side down the road just so they could chat!

tbh, you should give them reasonable clearance anyway, so 2 deep makes no odds. 3 deep is pushing it a bit, but its not often you find that (IME anyway)
you've gotta have space to cross the white lines to pass them however many they are, does it matter whether you have to go half way or all the way accross the white lines?

I had a similar thing happen to me a few years back ouija. I was riding along, quite sedately, following a Volvo (the motorcyclists arch enemy) going a the speed limit not trying to overtake or anything. Anyway, im look over the top of his car, noone in front of him and we are approching a junction. Then from out of the blue, he slams his brakes on full, tyres screaching and everything. It was a little wet on the road so i had to swerve around him a little whilst i braked as hard as i dared and he acme at me sideways. Thats about the time i thought sod this, moved next to his door and gave it a heafty boot with my steel buttoned boots (they had steel buttons where the toesliders would be on racing boots). Made a nice dent and some scratches which i was pleased with and made me feel better, flipped him the bird and sped off.

I hate Volvos with a passion.
