If you're pulling, the air wont 'bounce' back. Having literally zero seal is akin to pointing a house fan at a rad and expecting it to do its job well.
It'll work, but it wont be as efficient.

The 4 blocks (AISI) workship for IN and OUT liquid beetwin WS and the CASE.
Each block has 2 M 3/8" Gas Holes, the camber of the two holes pair is 45°.

Row blocks from a AISI 30x30mm. bar.

Ok I finally read the whole thing (took allot of time). Just a few things to say

    No.1 :jawdrop: Excellent!!

No.2 Your project (not mod), has bought up allot of discussion from, art, to architectures, photography, and marketing your work. One thing I did also notice is that allot of new users have been posting and joined bit-tech. Nice one

No.3 Allot people have their own views on projects, so far everything you have done is well engineered, precise and cool. I guess you have your reasons for doing what you do. Everybody has his or her own method of working. So far all looks well, even it from the top of your own head. :thumb:

No.4 I cant believe you made everything from raw materials. Hard core mate. Very original, I guess if you have the tools and equipment why not. Plus you got the imagination to go along with it.

No.5 What does the factory you work at manufacture? :dremel:

No.6 Keep it up, inspiration and innovation is what we all need. You should be proud of what you have achieved, don’t stop!!

Hope to here from you soon. I think after all that work I don’t blame you for having a break

    Take care :D

Not IMO. I believe that it would draw more air through the cracks seeing as it would be harder to get the air through the middle. I understand what you are saying about the deadspot and you are absolutely right. It needs to be lifted off the rad to eliminate it. But try holding a straw up to your mouth but not closeing your lps around it and suck in. Most of the air will come from the sides of the straw and not the center. Plz do not respond to this tho because we are stealing his thread. I just wanted to get my reasoning out there

Ok final post on this topic from me in this thread:
I wont be told to be told what to do:D
It is not just about the dead spot in the center of the fan it is about the interferance of the vanes of the raditor to the blades of the fan, this is the main cause of noise and performance drop from having a fan to close to a raditor. and while you are quite right to have an opinion it might be concidered a bit daft to have an opinion that flys in the face of engineering fact. as i hasve said repeatly rather then trying to argue opinion try it for yourself, do a little experimentation you might be surprised :duh:

very soooory about this, bit it was bugging me

Wouldn't the ideal solution for efficeint rad cooling be to transform the wild turbulent flow of the air from the fan into a laminar flow by using something like a venturi? I know it would be hard to implement that in a PC case, but I'm asking for the sake of

The 4 blocks for IN and OUT liquid beetwin WS and the CASE.

I'm just posting for the explanation of the 4 bloks.

The rad fan position is, at the moment, in this way... I'll control the noise and, if it works, I can change the final position.

First of all I thank you and also all the others for congratulations. ;)

The factory where I work, is a mechanical constructions manifacturing firm.

    See you soon! :thumb:
