oh dear god, no more. i can't take any more *passes out from pleasure overload* this project log really is like a 24hr sex marathon isn't it ;-)
Oh my I just realized that one tool at my fathers workshop should be something similar to that tool u used I have never ever before even thought that i could be using it for anything but now i´ve already got few nice ideas and it´s all thanks to u Oh and btw your work is just too great
Pick G69T's brain Hey, G69T what can i say that hasn't already been said about this cool machine? wow, as if "cool" was original. Well then give us a summary of your background training. What interested you to go into the CNC machining field and use your skills with machining your PC's, why use the materials you do to build your machines instead of sheet metal? These are just generic questions to pass the time whilst waiting for your next pic and projects to be shown. I am pretty sure your fans would probably like to know, yes G69T, you have fans.
Great to see you working again, I have been waiting in darkness for this The plasma cutting station is actually quite funny compared to the other machinery at your workplace. Everything else is bolted and mounted to the floor, big stuff. Then the plasma cutter is actually a "hand tool", not like CNC plasma cutter (although it has been turned into one). Seems to do the job though, also the optical tracking device is really cool, but is it necessary since you already had the drawings made with cad software or doesn't the cutting station understand cad? Well it's great to have you back. Janne
Thanks all guys! I have drawing by hand with the old drafting board. SMALL UPDATE Some details of the plasma cut on the pieces Z O O M ! Z O O M ! Z O O M ! Z O O M ! Hey, now you're getting into some real serious fabrication, GT69T... Very nice... very nice. Your work is an inspiration.
WOW! *Takes a few deep breaths*... ...Ok so this, creation of yours is sheer brilliance! I'm finding it hard to describe how i really feel about this mod! Truly mate, as dutchcedar has said; Your work is a inspiration to us all, thank you for the chance to see you in action with this mod, and thank you for the intense detail you have put into your pictures and movies. Just thank you for the chance to read about something so immense! Regards. Caff.
Thanks all! UPDATE - The support assembly test For the structural work phase I have used a welding machine and more classic tools..... ...and now, you look the images about the assembly test... My god, everytime I think this project is about done, you add on more! Next I'll probably come back to find you're custom building the house to put it in! Amazing work as always though
Damn, that's my bad, I just quickly glanced the pictures of the drawings and didn't quite get how they were done. Well that's even more power to you since you made them by hand, absolutely cool. Seems that you know your way around steel and not only alu, the support is looking good. You could have made this whole thing from aluminium too, polished or anodized say 10mm alu feet would have looked really good too. Of course steel is a "bit" cheaper Great to see this old thread brought back to life again. I'll definitely check back on this to see the progress on the support. Janne
