Other Dash Cam's

    Anyone recommend a good dash cam, just started to look into this as the amount of nutters on the A14 seems to have increased 10 fold recently.

    Check out Techmoan, he's pretty much the go-to-guy for dashcams.

    I have a cheapo 0801. Works well, luckily haven't needed the footage off it yet, but regular inspections suggest the recordings are eligible up to about 2 car lengths.

    I've got an older Blackvue DR380G HD, it's only 720p but clear enough to make out number plates at a few cars distance.

    It's more expensive than some of the cheap no-brand cameras but paid it's way when a bus hit me at a junction. Didn't need to go through my insurance as the bus company admitted liability and paid for the damages after being provided the footage.
