Anyone know of one because while most of my mp3s were dling in kazaa, I paused them and moved em to another folder. Now they're stuck as .dat files and its making me mad.

With MPEG based files, you should just be able to rename them and they'll work fine. Obviously if they aren't completed, they won't be the entire song.

It's always worked for me before.

Can't hurt to try . . If it doesn't, just rename it back :D

    Hope it helps.

    spot on ^

    you can just rename em

if you can't see the extension of the file, goto 'Tools' -> 'Folder Options', then click the 'View' tab, and uncheck 'Hide Extensions for Know File Types' (this is for XP, not sure of earlier version of windows...)
