I bought the gold package retail in stores... it would appear to me that I should be getting DoD source for free.... yet it remains purchase only on my steam account.... whats up with that?

Didn't know you could buy Gold retail, I thought it was a special edition (ie retail and a few extra goodies, tin box etc)

    HDR is sooo sweeeet.

I played for a couple of hours last night. Fantastic game.

Tried CS:S on the bit-tech server too, but no-one was on at midnight.

I set my settings all to the lowest possible, HDR off and tried the native 19" LCD resolution right down to 1024x786. the peak FPS was around 55 but when there were more than 6 or seven people in front of me the FPS went down to as low as 5. I really need a new AGP graphics card, or one of those spanking new SLI setups. :hip:

Well, this game rocks. I found a 24/7 Avalanche server on Sunday, and played for about 7 hours straight. Finished with over 400 kills though. :D

Your not alone, been playing on an Avalanche 24/7 server for hours on end myself, untill it killed my graphics card.

I'm just loving this game, can't wait to see what new maps turn up.
