Wich setup should i choose , im going to get some new ram, so its either going to be 4x1Gb og 2x2Gb, the ram is ddr2 800mhz pc2-5300 - do you think i would feel any diffrence between these 2 setups? - the price is the same and im not going to upgrade so i dont need more than 4 gigs :)

DDR2-800MHz is actually PC2-6400 not 5300. always go for 2 sticks to save problems with the memory controllers.

    agreed.

    agreed.

    plus.
if you ever decide... leaves open the ability to expand further.

how much of a difference? 800MHz vs 667MHz?
what are the latencies? 5-5-5-18? 4-4-4-12?

    it really all depends.
what are the two choices you are looking at?

2x2 is better, because it will be dual channel.

just took a look, they are having the same Mhz and latency - how would this sounds like 2gb - 1 gb - 2gb 1gb så its like 2,1,2,1 = 6 gb..

same latencies. same speeds. definitely 2x2GB.
    i wouldn't go for 2x2GB and 2X1GB.
using all dimms is hard on the motherboard.

i would stick to 2x2GB. for now.
and later upgrade to an additional 2x2GB.
    if so desired.
    just my personal opinion.

2 X 2 simply because of dual channel.

If it was (4 X 2gb) Vs ( 2 X 4gb) then the story might be different.......how much does a stick of 4gb ram cost anyways?
