Over the past two weeks i have had an annoying little green dot on my screen, is this a dead pixel? It just come one day and has never left. (It only shows on dark backgrounds) Is there a way to get rid of it.
Could just be a stuck pixel, and you could try one of the programs all over the internet to get rid of it.
Dead = Black Hot = White Stuck = Red/Green/Blue You can sometimes shift a stuck pixel by gently applying pressure to that are of the screen (about the same amount as you would if cleaning it). As for programs, try this.
Thanks! It was a green one. I tapped on the screen several times and then ran the program - it seems to have gone! Hopefully it never comes back.
