This is a bit of an emergency in that I need a quick response if someone would be so kind as to help me :)

I've got a friend that a work with that is extremely tight on money (going to be evicted from his apartment if he can't come up with almost $300 this week) and so he's selling some of his stuff, including DVDs, tv and of course a home theatre system.

Now I haven't gotten a chance to look at it myself (though I'm no expert on this stuff anyways), but just going off of what he's told me, does $100-125 sound like a good price, or even a great bargain?

    -Made by Pioneer
-1000 watt (around 375 watt subwoofer)
-Center/sub, front left and right speakers and two rear speakers (just realized I could have just put 5.1 setup :wallbash: )

I asked my brother (he works in a recording studio) and he said it sounds like a great deal, but just want to verify. Anything I should look for in it to make it an even better deal (like SPDIF in/out or something similar)? Or could I probably buy a new one for close to the same price (like within $100)?

    Thanks!

    *Edit*
I'm also assuming that most likely I'd be able to hook this up to my 5.1 soundcard on my PC?
