apparently, if you have an ALPS printer, it can use white opaque inks, or even metallic ink.
It's really handy for making decals for models as well, as you can put in white areas.
other than that, i just don't know :sigh:

Exactly what it says - Gold or silver ink. Somewhat similar to the stuff found on Christmas cards.

AFAIK it is only available for Alps printers.

I'm wanting to get a remote control for my pc, for winamp and such. and have looked at the irman system, but i want a creditcard sized remote, and have found this one. (which i assume will work with the irman reciever):

    http://www.discountave.net/kcarkencredc.html

only problem is, the labels on it.. being so thin. do you guys think it's possible to make my own label to replace this ones? so i have a button with the words "winamp" on it, and "powerdvd" etc?

    Very groovy

    Nice,

Just wondered though, is it possible to spray car laquer on top of those sticky-transparent sheets?
I want to mod my drives (same style as GOO did - just without the plexi - self stickon sheets instead), and I'm worried that the ink will smudge with my sweaty fingers.
I don't like the idea of sticking another sheet on top either (I'm lazy and I'd probably mess it up) to protect it, I want to just stick the sheet on the drive face-plate and then laquer the whole thing to protect it and give a nice smooth finish...

Do you think the laquer would mess the ink up?

    Possible?

It might dissolve the ink so experiment first. Try a laqueur designed for photographs.
