Hi all Ive been searching for a Printer Scanner for a while now and Im going out of my mind, all that ive looked at seem fairly similar but im looking for fairly good quality at an affordable price. Ideally Id need an emphasis on scanning as I use a lot of scanned images in my design, but also a card reader facility and of course an acceptable print function. Its a jungle out there and all ive seen have fairly mixed reviews, anyone have any suggestions???
Canon mp990 bit expensive but the scanner is very decent also prints brilliantly on rag paper Think canon have replaced it recently with thouch screen version. Only major downer is canon do not cater for Linux but the fact you can scan to USB stick and print from sticks makes it alot less painful
i've been shopping scanners myself, but do need to print occasionally too, so it'll probably be a printer/scanner for me. i'm looking at the canon pixma mp560 wireless inkjet. they retail at about a hundred.
