Hey guys, anyone else had this problem:

the screen on my mac book pro (the latest Intel version) has started going on the blink literally. every 10 or so seconds it blinks. no apparent reason for it, i've changed nothing.

what i'm most worried about it this is happening about 3 days after my 1 year warranty. bugger.

How much does it blink? Does it turn off?
Sometimes at certain angles my MBP screen flickers slightly in intensity really fast. A reboot usually cures it. Or simply closing and opening the lid.

    3 days?

Go to the Apple store and make a fuss. I know someone who's had four replacements for screen issues, two outside of warranty. Apple are usually somewhat more lenient with such close spaces of time.

Considering how the display is attached to the main board, though, that could have come loose, mine did weird things when that wasn't pushed in properly. Not flickering as such, but still not normal operation.

balls...i'm not gonna be anywhere near an apple store until this weekend... (oh the bloody woes of working away from home...)

    worth a try though.

it's flickering about every 10 seconds, just a quick flash where the screens goes on and off. it's very very noticeable though.

i'm not really satisfied with rebooting to cure the problem. i spent the beast part of 2 grand on the thing, i expect it to bloody work!
