Just checked the Alienware homepage. I see nothing mentioning Dell, but man does that page look like a Dell page or what?

They were the best. Not there ****. There making **** ass mp3 player and giving them away with computers cause no one wants to buy from them. To tell you the trueth there is nothing that Alianwear does thats new. They water cool a computer, I first thought well that a good idea tell I found there were paying the company Kooler to do it for them. There crap in my eyes. The same with DELL. I worked as an admin two summers ago in a office. You can take RAM for one Dell and put into anther Dell. Same Dells, same ram. I tried it with 5 different sticks and only work on the computer they come from. Now that ******** for you.

    Some one has issues!

Anydoes... it could be a could be a good thing, think about Alienware PC performance with a Dell price tag? Ok the case will look crap, but thats why we mod, correct?

Thers no point in buying pre-modded cases.

    Regards
    GiGo

The markets in consilidating, the best and cheapest way to gain market share in any business is to buy someone.

Its going to be happening a lot more over the next few years :)

alienware killed any reputation it may of had when they became distributed by best buy.

Imo, alienware pcs are and have always been overpriced computers designed for n00b gamers who have no clue what anything is. If anything, i am happy that alienware has been bought by dell.

I dunno, I thought they would just keep alienware as a seperate site and keep everything similar with a few changes in price maybe, but then again they do make their own gaming pcs...

have to agree with offroadracer789 and seebul here. telnet, Dell have much better taste in case design than alienware do.
Alienware "How much shiny plastic crap can we bolt onto a chieftec chassis?"
Dell "How can we save money by making the least OTT case fascias?"

good lord, whenever I look at a dell case I shudder. something about a crooked company logo on the side of the case in 44pt font drive me up a wall. the name of the company invokes bad thoughts.... not as bad as compaq though
