    Hi guys,
Which one should i get? It is going to be used for media and work. Speed and practicality is important, and screen. Is the x51 slower? That is what i have heard, to do with the memory.

I can't tell you anything positive or negative about the iPaq 2795, but I can tell you about the Axim.

Our model was its immediate predecessor, the X50v. We have had nothing but problems with it. It will quit powering on about every three months, requiring a hard reset, which makes us reinstall all the programs, etc. We bought the extended warranty and the accident coverage, but since a hard reset brings the system back up and running, Dell won't do anything about it.

Even the v model, which is supposed to be souped up, required us to buy extra memory in order to install more than one program on it.

I normally like Dell products, as you can't beat the price and it works as well as anything else (I'm not a gamer or a programmer or anything fancy), but this one has been a lemon from the start.

I've been toying with the idea of causing an 'accident' so we can get it replaced with the extra coverage we bought. Think my truck can do the trick?

    :p

Edit: Apparently it varies by who you talk to at Dell.

I tried contacting them again, and without any guff or troubleshooting efforts, the rep said, "Mind if we just replace your unit with the X51v? It's the version newer than yours and we'll send it out today for free."

Now I can once again be happy with Dell.
