I have an old dell with a pentium 3 layin' around and wanted to turn the PSU into a test one, so i was going to mod it so it would power up without a mobo. i started lookin at the ATX plug a realalized it didnt look anything like a normal one :wallbash: . so can sombody help me ? theres actualy only 19 wires, and i have no idea what to do. :waah:

It's a WTX PSU, not ATX. (know this because I have some old Dell P3s)
This means that the PSU is controlled by a SMBus interface is, for the most part, useless without a mobo.
If you realy want to try, though, you can use a PIC to send the power on packet or open the PSU and find the logic level enable (hint: try looking up the part numbers of the chips).
