    "German" style cooling will be more expensive than an American 1/2" style no matter where you are. A heatercore is cheap and very effective, but a German style tube/fin rad is going to be nearly double the price. The noise of the system is dependent on the parts you would use, so it's easy to replace noisy components instead of changing the whole approach.

    well, the stuff on thoughs sites is loads cheeper than what I was looking at pre p&p. I'm thinking of dropping the GPU block and air cooling it as befor but keeping CPU and N'bridge. Mayb add water cooling to the GPU or the entire G-card at a later date.

    Edit: I also like the loog of the D4 as it can be controlled, so I can program a PIC to control the speed based on temps etc.
