    Quite true, all depending on when those countries got their independence.

    As far as I am aware, and please feel free to correct me, one of the only holidays that is associated with one country, yet is celebrated by so many others, would be St Patrick's Day (for some odd reason).

    Here in Norway independence day is on may 17th. Sweden is June 9th (IIRC).

    No problem , you're corrected, St Patrick's Day is associated with 2 countries - Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland :D

    Really? Then why do they have parades in the US (New York for example) and have our Prime Minister over for lunch in the White House?

    What does "M8 ur wee" mean?

    I can't understand people who type like that, I understand that this text speak started to save space when texting. But I can't see how its any faster or easier to think about to to spell incorrectly and then type an unnatural word. PEOPLE SUCK!!!!!

    Ok just noticed something quite terrifying, I get an hour glass (with spinning circle on win7) when I hit caps lock, didn't realise it was that demanding.

    Totally agree. The scary thing is that kids believe that this is acceptable in more formal mediums as well...

    ("Kids"? I feel old...)



    It's just an indicator that the "cruise control for cool" is waiting for you!
