I am: I'm absolutely sick of all this vacuous softcore excuse-for-tits ********, it's sexist, misplaced, patronising and demeaning to both women and the people who post it - I look at a post like that and think "that person is either never going to get a partner, or is going to get one and get drunk and beat her".

Go look at porn if you want porn*. I don't claim any kind of authority (I couldn't if I wanted to), but personally I think that this thread is about humour, not degrading titillation.

*Actually, given the attitude toward women implied by most of these images, don't; it'll just reinforce your already-skewed and overly objectifying gender perceptions.

edit - I know this comes off as killjoy moral preaching, so I'll try to illustrate why this annoys me. I don't hate tits. I hate double standards. For example, if I demotivated and posted twenty images like this:

If I'm the only one - if there really isn't a silent minority or majority who don't like them either - then fine, I give up on our species, go nuts.

To be honest with you, I doubt anybody here would seriously have a problem if you posted a hundred pictures of softcore male porn, as long as it was relevant to the thread in some way (demotivational, or at least in the standard format). You might see a few people overreacting in a rather comedic way, but I doubt any of them are serious in the least about it.

Enlighten me: what double standard are we looking at again?

Oh, no wait, there isn't one: most people here are male, and enjoy looking at the mammary glands of women. And since this place is rated PG13, the pictures have to be kept as such.

I don't see a problem with the objectification of women (or men for that matter), at least over the internet anyway.

That's no reason to stop. Anyone who wants to contribute new content to the thread beyond "Epic Tits are Epic" should be applauded, because otherwise we'd get stuck in an infinite loop. The argument of moral high ground isn't one which should concern readers so much as the fact that all these lame semi-nude women demots are boring, unfunny and going around in circles. It's no different from any other perpetuating meme, with about as much longevity, worth or merit.

If you just want to look at bikinis then create a thread for that. Otherwise, since this thread is for funny pictures of all kinds and since the humour showcased in this thread obviously is very wide and diverse, don't immediately backlash at anyone fighting against something which is unfunny, predictable, off-topic and slightly degrading when viewed in such mass.

All it takes for evil to thrive is for good people to do nothing and just because you (or, in fact, the majority of readers) enjoy looking at semi-nude women doesn't mean that that's what this thread is for. It's for a wealth of content and humour.

Seriously guys, I like seeing the occasional picture of a semi nude attractive woman in this thread as much as the people who post them, but like Joe says, it's not an excuse to post nothing but that. Yes, sometimes they are funny, but most of the time they go a little too far. Let's try and keep it more humorous and demotivating and less softcore pr0n for at least a few pages...
