The majority (in a first past the post voting system) of the people in the Uk would like to disagree with that.

 

Wasn't intended as derogatory, no more than people calling bikers "organ donors".

Not so, more people voted for someone other than Cameron than voted for him but because they voted for different parties we ended up with him, this is one of the arguments against FPTP.

Considering my dad's friend's husband *was* in a coma and I don't exactly know what condition he's in now.... yeah. He went along close to the white lines in the middle of the road to let a car turn left (UK, so not crossing the line), and a car pulled out after that to turn right (crossing the line) and the guy on the bike couldn't stop...

The statement made more sense in my head, but I was trying to convey that:
Tory seats > Labour seats > Lib Dem seats > etc. etc.

 

I know the risks and I'm very careful when I do it, nobody want's to end up in a coma.

Yup but it goes to show the complexity of our electoral system and (no offence intended) that many people don't understand how it actually works.

Well if you want to put that way LIb dems for 23% of the vote but only 8% of the possible seats. They got more votes than ever but lost seats.

That why he want reforms but conservatives and labour don't. Cos they'll lose out and lib dems will gain. It got nothing to do with them actually thinking the reforms are a bad idea.

I think the most demote thing is BNP increase in votes.

The girl might not be a demot in the true meaning of the word, but OH MY GOD how demotivated I am by seeing what must be one of the prettiest girls I have ever seen (no exaggeration) knowing I will never meet her, and if I did, she is more than spoken for anyways.
