I passed by three BP stations yesterday while going to the grocery store. Someone had spray painted the word "kill" over all of their logos. I laughed.

 

oh boy, i need to go and check my local station now

 

1. Sorry to hear about your dogs. Enjoy every second you have left with them.
2. Ugly story put a lump in my throat
3. I've not watched the cat movie because it's obvious what has happened. The demotivating part is that someone decided to film it rather than remove the cat and spare the other of it's confusion and stress.

I've been utterly pestered with our neighbours (5) cats all weekend, coming into our house, leaving mess on the lawn and patio, walking over the bonnets of our cars etc etc, but even I - a dog lover and cat hater - have to admit the dead cat movie made me quite sad. So as always did the ugly pic :/

I'm sorry to hear about your dog Kalcifier. My cousin has two black labs and one is heading the same way as yours very soon She's had both Shadow and Lucy at the vet six times in the past 2 months. Shadow is getting better very slowly but Lucy isn't showing any signs of improvement. Lucy can hardly even walk around sometimes. As far as I know arthritis combined with muscle deterioration in her hind legs is to blame. It's really hard to see animals that have been members of your family for years getting worse and worse as time goes on.

 

We have a chocolate labrador who's getting arthritis and has developed severe back problems as a result of her jumping around all the time. It sucks but that's what you get with purebreed dogs.
