Modding Design help/ideas

    Would a 600mm square cube made out of 3mm clear perspex be strong enough to house a computer set up normally (mobo on right hand panel etc)? Also, any design ideas for this project?

    To put it bluntly........no. You would need at least 5mm and i dont think that would be thick enough. About 8mm ish would be about right i think.

    Thinking of putting 10mm pillars scattered around case to suppurt it?

    I still dont think it would be strong enough, if you pick up a sheet of acrylic it bends like hell.

    You could give it a go, but i wouldnt think it will work and unless you can get it for free. It will cost a bit too.
