So I'm designing a side panel cut for my Aria. I want it to resemble flames, and my handle will be cut in flames as a badge from a seperate piece of aluminum and placed behind the plexi. I'd like input on the current design:

The gray squares are pieces of the case's frame that will be hidden behind the white space. I've cut out the area that will be cut to show you the empty space.

The thickness is correct, as the Aria has some sort of plastic/foam between each panel.

I like it, its different. First thing, are you cutting it with a Dremel, cause if you are I’ll warn you up front; cutting flames with a Dremel is extremely hard.

The one thing that I would say, is that you should have more structure holding the flames in the center, from your cad drawings there appear to be only two small points

Maybe you should connect the first I to the main pannel and the D's to. Have you any experience with dremmeling before?

One of those flames appears to be going in the opposite direction to the others, shouldnt they all go up?
I agree with the previous comment about having just the two small points of contact, you just know theyll get snapped at some point.

If you read the first post, I said the "iddqd" will be a seperate piece cut, and attached to the inside of the plexi.

The reason that flame is upside down is that it's the "q" in "iddqd."

Basically, I'd like opinions on the overall window shape, i.e. does it need more flames integrated, or is it enough with the 3 cut outs?

And this will be sent to a water jet company, but painted by me.
