I haven't worked out how to do this yet...
I have a 2048x768 image I want to use but when I select it in windows display properties, all I get is the image "started again" on the second monitor.

I'm running an Excalibur Radeon 9600SE w/ 2*old 15" monitors, one on VGA and one on DVI with a DVI>VGA adaptor. Both running at 1024x768 60hz.

    Any suggestions?

I am pretty sure that this has been answered in the past but what you need is Ultramon. Oh and It has loads of other nice features besides the wallpaper thing (I certainly wouldn't want to use a multi-monitor setup without it).

Easyist way to do it in my experience is when you have a desktop that is of good enough resolution to span both moniters, select tile rather than stretch from the desktop control pannel. Works every time.
