Doesn't systemd on Linux have an issue with the new Ryzen parts too? Because of the hardware RDRAND?
That bug (which is originally from 2014 and referred to Mullins chips, but was recently reopened for newer parts) is actually this bug and applies to AMD Family 22 (Jaguar) parts, which are pre-Zen; it doesn't affect Family 23 (Zen) parts, as far as I'm aware.
There is a problem with some systemd on some Linux distributions and the Ryzen 3000 series, but it ain't the rdrand bug (unless you know something I dont!)
Reports of Bobby Kotick being seen sneaking into the AMD clean rooms twirling his fake mustache remain unconfirmed.
