Be nice to have a 1Tb SSD for £40.
Or if you wanted to take the non-violent/destructive route, you could have just used a magnetic degauser
We used to use one for wiping VHS assessment videos, but I have to say it... lump hammer Cheesecake!!
Then the Jaz drives came out. Remember those? 2GB on something the size of a floppy disk. Minds were blown. Then flash technology came out and that was the end of that.
Yeah I remember them well 1GB then the 2GB followed. Seemed like a ridiculous amount of space at the time...

secure wipe....LOL just make a Linux boot USB stick and hard format between the different file systems as much as you deem necessary. DONE.
