Looks suspiciously like its going to end up being a console port in the long run ¬.¬
Wow, those recommendeda specs are actually pretty high.
Recommend graphics card is a 5850 - I doubt this is just a "console port"
Yeah because the 5850 is definatly in all the consoles and was out 5 years ago when they were released.
Moving on, that's a pretty high bar to hit when it comes to it! I'm seriously going to need to look at new graphics cards by the end of summer me thinks!
*looks at his wallet and dies inside*
Well there is always the poor console port option a la GTA4. This is the lowest gfx card they can get it to work on with out spending any time on the actual port... Man i'm getting cynical.
Recommending a DX11 card means DX11 support, right?
Owch, soon the recommended specs will be making my 5870 and 560Ti look like crap
Any one know how effective it's quad core support will be?
Recommended specs sound decent, looks like I will have to boot with my overclocked profile to play properly
"Well there is always the poor console port option a la GTA4"
GTA was not a poor console port.
Cool dudes still smoke and drink 2027!? ...yeh!
surely the minimum system spec is more reflective of a console port!!!!
Urg, new GPU for Pete I don't want to spend money on that though...
It unsettles me that Squeenix's trailer makes it look like Metal Gear Solid: 2027.
It's reflective of an engine that scales well. The recommended spec tells you a lot more about how much extra work they put in engine wise to create effects/high res textures purely for the PC market. This knee jerk reaction to console ports is ridiculous anyway. Here's an idea, see if the game is fun before dooming it based on which was the lead dev platform.
Surely how it plays is more important original Deus Ex looked dated for its time but was still brilliant.
Hmmm Core 2 Quad is a little broad. The older ones would be a bit of a bottleneck for a 5850.
So its finally time to upgrade from my Q6600, and Geforce 8800GT?
This is gonna be a right pain to run in Eyefinity I bet then.
