The 335m in my M11x is currently rocking in a corner at those specs.

Poor little thing won't know what hit it.

My ULV Core 2 Duo is coming up a bit short as well but a quick pin mod / PLL fix via SetPLL should solve that issue.

Desktop should run it fine though. Looking forward to it.

hummm, no internet requirement. Hopefully this is because there is no need for online activation rather then they just didn't produce a full spec list!

I wonder if the consoles will render it to 1920x1200 at 60fps. Then again, I suspect my outfit (GTX 470, i7 950) won't either.

Just bought a 5770 this year, so It looks like I'll be picking this up on the 360 instead.

Sounds like they are doing a Crytek and telling us we need to buy better hardware to play the game, even thou the majority will have older cards and be able to run it perfectly fine on medium settings and still be suitably impressed with the overall graphics quality. It's a shame they don't mention at what resolution the 5850 is suited for.

Definitely. Blader Runner meets GITS meets Crysis meets Splinter Cell meets MGS meets...you get the picture. Which means, it should be pretty goddamn amazing.

And yeah, a 5850 as 'recommended' :eeek: . What about the 4xxx or the 2xx GPUs becoming the 'standard' recommended card needed? Maybe this'll be the new Crysis.

If a 2000 series card is the minimum and a 5850 recommended, there's a good chance a 5770 will still run it well, albeit with some of the settings dropped to medium, at low to mid resolutions.

Minimum specs don't seem to be like they were in the old days, where it basically meant you could load the game, see the menu screen and then watch the screen update at 5 fps. Generally a game is still playable now, even if you have to drop all the settings to low.

Uhhmmm. All good, all good. I am sure this game will help wipe away bad memories of Crysis 2, etc.!

Keep an eye on the Deus Ex HR Twitter/FB page as they are releasing PC specific information this week. So far I've seen a reworked UI and control system for the PC so it looks like they have been going in the direction of just not making it a port. Hopefully it will be great!
