So...Season 3! anyone seen it yet? I have seen it until episode 9 of season 3 and I have to say...its bloody amazing.... Spoiler I never saw it coming with his new found sidekick and his "true personality"....someone smarter than dexter it seems! I cant wait to see how it unfolds......probably one of the best shows out at the moment! Awesome show!!! Anyone been catching season 3 so far?
Spoiler He's blatantly going to kill Miguel I think Dexter is an amazing show, in that it hasn't waned even in the slightest, with shows like Lost and Heroes etc I often feel a bit disheartened by random episodes, however, Dexter is just epic in how it keeps you watching, even after so long. I think it's important how it only has 12 1 hour episodes though, as opposed to the ordinary 24 40 minute eps of other mainstream shows....means there needn't be any fillers!
Brilliant twist. I was so skeptical of that whole story arc until tonight when all my actual thoughts about how it seemed to forced, and set up! It actually made sense. I'm glad they have pulled away from the books with this one. Season one was great. Season two, not so much.
It is at a great point this season and I hope it keeps this pace up but it's still second in my top shows of the year list after True Blood.
In all honesty i was very meh about the whole of season 3 till this very episode Spoiler The bit where he twigged on Miguel and flipped out was the turning point for me however due to bouts of boredom i doubt I'll stop watching it!
HUGE spoiler even for people who have seen all the episodes so far (don't say i didn't warn you): Spoiler maybe the other way around. in an upcoming episode, miguel has dexter strapped to a table and stabs him in the chest. this leaked when the knife slipped and michael c hall's stunt double was injured filming the scene.
LOL that was the bit that really caught my attention too. In episode 9. Its like suddenly it was "game on"....a mental pychological war is about to take place. Spoiler "BOVINE....ITS BOVINE...ITS NOT EVEN HUMAN"...that was LOOOOOL. He went apeshit mental and It really scared me and made me jump as you never expect it....and then suddenly"...Hey buddy, golf tommorow? You bet pal! lol...awesome!
That was very cleverly done. A lot of Dexters day dreams (not the ones about his dad) are very obvious because his behavior in them is so out of the ordinary for him. When he did that thing you mentioned though you can easily understand why someone might completely flip out but then when it snapped back it's just another insight into how calculating he can be. P.S. Avatar thief
Agreed. Although, now whenever Dexter and Deb are having a brother sister heart to heart I can't help but laugh because they are apparently an item in real life. I wonder how quickly that joke got old?
so far season 3 is WAY better than season 2 ... and the look in Maria's eyes when Miguel pulls away ... you could almost hear the "click" ...
