I should probably catch up on this, as everybody seems to be raving about it. But I watched season 1, and got bored a few episodes in, and never finished it. Is it just not for me, or did everybody find the start a bit slow?
I do seem to remember a couple of the more famous tv critics gave it diabolical reviews to start with. But they all more or less retracted them once they watched the whole season. You may find it hard to get into, but force yourself. It's TOTALLY worth it. And the last episode.....AWESOME! Spoiler Suck on that miguel! I am a bit upset that miguel is gone now though as he is such a cool character, will be a great loss to the series, would have been cool if they went on fighting each other in some way or another. I think the season will end with dexter under the blade from the skinner....!
Just seen the season finale, Spoiler I wasn't expecting that from Deb, but it was well deserved. Bit dissapointed by how subdued the death of King was though, I felt it should've been more drawn out. But the way that Dexter handled the "Sins of the father" was very, VERY well done imho! Can't wait for Season 4
Just watched the final yesterday, and in my mind a fitting and quite satisfying ending to the season. I agree with the death of King though; it seemed a bit rushed, though Dexter was a little pressed for time at the moment. Anyhow, really looking forward to season 4.
Epic. LOVE DEXTER! Spoiler I think it was rushed too, the aftermath of Miguels death + debs promotion deserved a whole episode, and the george king ramone thing deservered another. i thought it was a bit too slick how dexter got away, we should have had a bit of a cliffhanger on the end ready for season 4!
Spoiler fantastic finish, however the whole season was pants till the last three episodes, boring boring build-up.... Personally i think season 4 is gonna be about Ritas daughter, I think she is probably gonna turn to the darkside. Also Season 4 is at least 5 or so years on from this season - in the promo you see dex with a dark haired boy on his knee...
thread revival! OMFG! Season 4 finale was EPIC! Totally didn't see it coming, Spoiler I thought once Dexter had killed Trinity, that'd be it! , I was sitting there (yep, at 2 in the morning, I've just watched it now) with my mouth wide open just in shock! The whole season was awesome! Better than 3, so tense all the time, even in the final episode I thought Spoiler pretty tense but nothing bad can happen, it's the finale! How wrong was I As you can tell by my blabbering, I am in awe ... speechless!
Season 4 was easily the greatest season they have ever done, the ending was stunning but it only serves as a testament to how well they handled every episode this run.
But come on....did everyone else keep thinking about 3rd rock from the sun while watching S4?! Great season, last episode was just sheer brilliance in writing. Genius!
The whole of every season has been epic. I thought it would be good for Dexter to end after season 4, but now that I watched it I just want more!
Best show on telly at the moment... (Well, while it was on...) I kept thinking about Harry and the Henderson's. I never watched third rock He's a brilliant actor though. So is Hall. Slowly watching Dexter lose it as the season went on was excellent.
Maybe Spoiler she's just asleep in bath full of blood belonging to someone else? I'm interested to see how dexter handles it considering he can't take revenge, even more so because he is the reason he can't take revenge.
