    Hi,

Ive just installed my new rig, running a DFI lanparty pro875, Corsair Twinx PC4000 1024mb & a P4 2.4ghz(c) 800 FSB. I managed to overclock the cpu to 2.9ghz, then I updated the bios & now I dont seem to be able to overclock, the bios setting stay the same ie 250 x12, but when I boot it says 2.4ghz, windows also reports a speed of 2.4ghz.

    Any help would be appriciated

    Hi mat,

Got it going now, just re installed the bios. Got the 2.4ghz up to 2.7 stable at the minute. The board seems pretty good so far, no quibbles with it.

    Regards

Have you tried the chip in another mobo? Maybe it's the limiting factor.. Hey, this forum is chilly:naughty:
