Hi Guys, just aquired a S/H DG834GT which apparently comes with a built-in switch. Does this mean that, if l have 2 PCs connected to the router, l can access files on one from the other. If this is the case, how do l do so with an XP (home) and a Win2k pro. Many thanks
Hi, yes you can access files from one computer to another and vice versa as long as both commputers can now connect to the internet. You need to set up file and printer sharing on both computers, there are lots of tutorials available on the internet, a good place to start would be http://www.practicallynetworked.com/sharing/xp/filesharing.htm Let us know how you get one
