January Mass Effect 2 February AVP2 Napoleon: TW Bioshock 2 SC: Conviction STALKER: Call of Pripyat Star Trek Online March Bad Company 2 CnC4 DoW2: Chaos Rising This is the first year of my life that I will have the cash to buy a decent proportion of these games, and the first year I won't have time to play them And I'm still playing through Empire TW and STALKER:ShoC. Leaving aside the fact that all of these games (other than ST:O) are sequels and I don't think we've ever had it so good.
This is the constant torment of a gamer. When you have the money to buy the games, you don't have the time. You do, however, have a decent job, loads of money, and a social life. It's a trade-off I am willing to accept. TBH ME2 is the only game getting me juiced up in that list.
well you can scrub AVP and bioshit off that list for a start, mass effect 2 feels like it'll be very "meh" given the insane publicity. BC2 will probably attract hordes of cod kiddies so thats off my list, CNC died with red alert 2. the only thing that interests me there is Conviction and Pripyat. Autumn 2007 was the last great omg lol release schedule.
You can remove Star Trek Online as well if you are a true Trekkie. "Chromodynamic Armor: This armor is based on technology brought back from the Delta Quadrant by U.S.S. Voyager and is personal body armor that improves the damage and critical hits of your energy weapons. The following are the bonus attributes for the armor:" I don't remember seeing anyone wearing this clown suit before and how does body armor improve our phasers?
Definitely looking forward to Bioshock 2, SC and Stalker. Gonna start Mass Effect at the weekend, see how that goes before I get excited about the new one. Just watched the Co-op trailer for Conviction on Steam, looks pretty amazing. If I can find someone I know to play it with anyways...
Ive money (but im a miser and want to buy a new car) but I donno what games I wanna get either. Ive such a huge back list that by the time I catch up on it, thesegames will be bargin bin items lol. I also dont have the time cause of the GF frowning upon my "habit"
Meh, I don't care about any of that. 2010 will be a good year for me if it turns out Supreme Commander 2 isn't in fact a watered down piece of console tripe.
Bioshock 2, Mass Effect 2, and Pripyat are my games to look forward to. CNC4 I'll wait and see if anyone can get around the "Have to be on the Internet the whole time" thing before I buy that one.
That's AVP, ME2 (possibly) for me. CnC4 - the online only will be a deal breaker, if it goes that way. Didn't like the first STALKER Still haven't finished the first Bioshock, and while i did enjoy a bit of it, i for some reason have no ambition of finishing it.
I lost interest when it stopped being Elite Force with starships and became a City of Heroes re-skin. Would have loved to be able to coop on the bridge with a Starfleet Academy style control system, but cba with a shitty third person shooter.
Tell me about it, I asked the missus for Fifa 10 and MW2 for xmas, I should have asked for one of them and some time to play it
+1, I need closure on the universe that brought me into gaming Playing through STALKER again has put me off most normal shooters, I think CoP is the only new FPS that is really, really going to hook me.
Good times for PS3, looking at some release schedules: Jan - Bayonetta Feb - Heavy Rain Mar - Gran Turismo 5, Just Cause 2, God of War 3 Dead Rising 2 in Q2 sometime. Also, Omikron Karma?! Coo! Unrelated, but found this odd game on my travels.
Now that Kenco mentions it... Bayonetta (360 version) is on my "if i see it i'll buy it - no questions" list
AVP2 ZO-ZO-ZO-ZO-ZO-ZO-ZO-ZO-ZO-ZO-ZO-ZO-OMG Also can't wait for GT5 and God of War 3 Feels good to be a gamer again. I was a few years without playing anything at all but UT99/2k4 and COD2/4
