If you are mad pumped for Diablo 3, like me, you will be delighted to hear that Diablo 3 will be going into beta in the 3rd quarter of this year!
I'm right there with you Everything I see of Diablo 3 excites me more and more. It has the potential to be one of the very greatest action RPGs.
Oh nice. I never actually played any of the other Diablo's so this could be a nice chance to have a go. Will the Beta be free for all or do you need to pre-order or something like that?
Get Out. j/k but seriuosly you should get a hold of Diablo 2 + expansion, dirt cheap these days (i dare say there's about 50 spare copies between us all on bit-tech lol). It's still awesome and addictive even now. Where's my discs gone.............gotta play it again now
OMFG AWESOME cant wait to waste 1000000's of hours playing it and hording gear and giving some demons a smack. +1 to get diablo II + expansion its still very good now gameplaywise although you will have to put up with 800x600 hardcore graphics i loved upping the difficulty on MP there would be me and a friend but id enter the command to tell the server theres 8 people playing
Have/get a battle.net account, run a system test so they know your hardware, and then say "yes I would like to beta Diablo III" in the "signup for beta testing" area.

Unsure at this time. I have a Battle.net account through my *whispers* World Of Warcraft account, and there's a section on there to sign up for Blizzard beta tests. It doesn't guarantee entry but I've been pretty lucky in the past with it. Perhaps you can create an account on there and sign up to try and get into the Beta? I don't actually like to use that mod during gameplay, it does look pretty but it kind of breaks the game. I use the glide wrapper and I set my monitor to stretch without changing the aspect ratio. Looks good enough to me on a 1080p display, plus there are no problems with playing on Bnet!
Actually it is true, MedianXL does break the game, but it is damn fun and a decent change of pace. Oh out of curiosity, did you get it working with 1.13?
I've been waiting a whole entire decade for this. So here it goes. WOOOOOOOOOOT!!!!!!! My worst fear is that it doesn't live up to expectations.
There is a cynical part of my mind which keeps thinking that when this comes out every MMO will die since all MMO players have been doing so simply to pass the time as they wait for Diablo 3
