    I just agreed to sell my old system for £300 with person picking it up.

    spec is as follows.

    CASE:Enermax Uber Chakra
    MOBO:Asus P5Q PRO
    CPU:C2D E6850 3ghz
    Cooler:Zalman CNPS9900
    RAM:4GB 4X1GB Crucial ballistix pc6400
    GPU:BFG 640MB 8800GTS OC
    HDD:500GB Spinpoint
    PSU:Coolermaster greenpower 600w (freebie won from CPC magazine) thanks!!
    OPTICAL:lite on dvdrw with lightscribe (ide)

    i need to get rid of the system for cash but could i have done better?

    I'd say a fair deal has been had for both sides, I'm amazed you could even get someone to buy hardware that old TBH

    I agree with Sniipe, it's a fair deal both ways. May have got a bit more if you sold it all separately but even if you sold everything but the optical drive and cooler for £50 each, that's only £350 - you wouldn't get £50 for the hard drive and other bits may struggle too.

    Not a bad deal for you there at £300. I'd stay with it.
