    Hey guys,

For a couple of weeks now I have been banding my head against a wall trying to find a good pump.

Im looking to run a TDX, Maze 4 GPU and 120mm BIX for my next watercooled system. Only problem is, I cant find a pump. The pump needs to be inline with 3/8" barbs and be quiet. I could be 12v or 110 ac and a rpm (for the cpu fan header on the mobo) sensor. The cheaper the better and space dosent really matter as I have 3 5.25 bays for the pump. Also, has anyone know if a Eheim 300 or 600 could do it? They are pretty cheap but I dont know how much noise they put out. Thanks for any information in advance.

My vote goes to the CSP-MAG. I think it fits all of your criteria.

    I'm uber that way :D
By the specs, it looks excellent. I'm still waiting for mine to arrive (apparently I'm the first person to recieve a decective pump out of over 20k shipped so far, or something like that). Hopefully the replacement will be here this week. In any case, I like the 750 Mark II's, and the MAG is only supposed to be better. Going by the impeller, it looks to have at least twice the flow (the "fins" are about twice as long), and it has RPM sensing, runs off a normal fan header and the 750's at least are very quiet.

Yeah, just make sure the fan header can supposrt the up to 8 watts this pump takes. Is the mag gonna go into you vb2000? I cant remember if you already had a pump for your project. I hope to order one next week.

Yep, in fact both are (one was ordered some time ago, other was the first defective unit "ever" that had reached a customer, in any case I just emailed them as it has been a while). The 750's, or at least one, will go in my media center setup. I currently have one 750 running the entire v2000 setup as I simply didn't feel like plumbing the other back in (which says a LOT about them, it handles four blocks, one quite restrictive, and two rads with a lot of tubing, all 6mm setup with a lot of vertical flow necessary, and a right-angle on the inlet to top it all off, without a problem). The other 750 is running a 3/8" setup in my media center to be box (it has a 13gb 5400rpm hard drive, no tv tuner and no DVD drive, not quite there yet lol), and again no problem at all (but just a maze4 and black ice pro with a custom ghetto res)

Ideally I'd run both MAGs in FrozenFire off an Aquaero VFD, but seeing as I neither have the pumps yet and don't have a spare $275 to drop on the display (and I want another $1000 or so worth of hardware, plus a car, plus about $25-30k to open an Aqua Computer reselling store), that won't happen soon.

The Eheim 600 is a nice pump and you can get a Aqua Computer Compacttube that fits it nicely giving you a pump and compact reservoir all in one unit. :D If you wan to get fancy you can drill a hole in the side of your PSU and get your A-C voltage right off the PSU female power socket. Add an Asetek pump controller and you are set to go.

The Eheim 600 and Compactube are quality pieces of kit, but it seems like a lot of work to me to hook up the 230V supply when you can just use a Laing DCC or a CSP-MAG.

They are submerged pumps but stores offer conversion kits to make them run inline. Looks like I will be going with the CSP-MAG as it seems to be the best.

The inline adaptor is basically a filltank, so the pump is sumbermged, sorta :)
