and also another question: how about making something like a filter inside a loudspeaker with 5 speakers so each speaker get it's on signal range like tweeter, mid-tweeter, mid-speaker, mid-subwoofer and subwoofer and use 10 of these mono cirtruit (spellbook) http://www.gideontech.com/content/articles/210/1. like 5 for left and 5 for right with the filter so it's looks like winamps vu meter just in stereo. hope your understand

we talked about that a few pages ago. Its very possible, and I still plan on making one, but with having current multiple projects and like no cash right now its been put on hold. Smoguz linked to a simple bandpass filter you could use to get the different ranges.

i was just wondering if there's a guide for doing things with a parallel port. personally, i want to control my RC car's simple controller with it, and have no idea where to start

i saw somewhere a chip you could solder to a parralel port and you got 6 triacs (the modern thing of relay) then you could solder it inside the rc cars controller and use the comp instead of the rc cars controller

You know what got me thinking? A Fairchild LM75M08.

How about a serial version? Once you've done a serial version, doing it with I2C two-wire serial becomes trivial, and then you can hack it into SMBus. :)

quick question. I have LEDs that are 2.1v and rated for 10mA, so i calculated i need a 330 ohm resistor. if i have 8 connected will i be ok, or do i run the risk of damaging my port? i think im ok but i wanted the "experts" approval before i buy and make it.

He's given a guide on how to make it, wouldn't it be cheaper to follow it instead of getting someone else to make it? o_O
