Windows digital manipulation program

    could you guys recommend me a program for digital manipulation of pictures... something like photoshop...

    Photoshop.

    Or you could try Paint Shop Pro, a lot cheaper and it has most of Photoshop's features. Or grab a copy of Photoshop Elements.

    Gimp is the open source versoin of photoshop. It is well developed and is used by many pros. I believe it also supports the photoshop plugins and brushes. I have used it a few times and I like it. http://www.gimp.org
